Jehanne Mehta has been writing and singing folk songs for many decades, suffused with a deep reverence for the earth. Her daughter Jojo spearheads Stop Ecocide, a campaign working increasingly at a governmental level to catalyse legal protections for the earth - to help steer nations and corporations towards stewardship of the planet.

This anthology of Jehanne's songs was conceived as a twin project - to celebrate Jehanne's life's work and pass the songs on to future generations - and to raise awareness for Stop Ecocide's vital work. Published by Little Toller, it launched in September 2024.

Towards the end of the illustration process, I was asked to re-envisage the logo for Stop Ecocide.

You can find out more about the campaign, and buy the book, here.
