A series that grew from brushpen sketches I made running my stall at Stroud Market - initially playing with interlocking human figures, mostly in circular forms. They felt like they had a kind of ecstacy to them. When I began to think about making a bigger version in ink, my experiences of encountering other species fed into the process, and they became an expression of how we interrelate, a kind of interspecies dance.
